MJF had confirmed his commitment to AEW by getting a Bet On It tattoo, signifying his allegiance. Despite teasing a potential bidding war between AEW and WWE for his services in the past, it turns out MJFs negotiations were more about hype than reality.

While speaking to FOX, MJF explained his decision to stay with AEW, stating Tony Khan is paying him an exorbitant amount of money and that he feels AEW is truly where the best wrestle.

MJF is set to square off against Hechicero at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 30th, so we will have to wait and see how The Salt of The Earth will fare against The Alchemist in the end.
