This season, Team World will be called to defend the title for the second year, after Europe's domination in the first four editions of the event created by Roger Federer to honor Rod Laver.

The team captained by John McEnroe (athis last year as captain, given that from 2025 he will be replaced by Andre Agassi - ed.) managed to win the trophy in both 2022 and 2023. For this reason, the young American has been reconfirmed and will still be part of the Rest of the World team in the event scheduled at the Uber Arena in Berlin from 20 to 22 September. The 21-year-old from Atlanta will certainly find Alex De Minaur, compatriots Tommy Paul and Taylor Fritz.

At the moment there are four tennis players announced by Bjorn Borg's team Europe(from 2025,the legendart Swedish former star will be replaced by Yannick Noah - ed.): the Roland Garros winner Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev and the 22-time Slam champion Rafael Nadal. Both teams have two more places available to fill in the coming weeks.
