Emma Raducanu exited Eastbourne just a day after earning her first-ever top-10 win as the 21-year-old suffered a quarterfinalloss to Daria Kasatkina.

Following a Nottingham semifinal result and starting her Eastbourne run with very strong wins over Sloane Stephens and No. 2 seed Jessica Pegula, Raducanu probably played her worst match of this year's grass season on Thursday.

Going into the match, many were giving Raducanu a small edge considering her recent form. But No. 6 seed Kasatkina's win was never a doubt as the Russian dismantled the Briton 6-2 6-2 to set up a semifinal against Jasmine Paolini.

Throughout the entire match, Raducanu was struggling to find her game and making mistakes, which led to an easy loss.

How Kasatkina oustedRaducanu?

Raducanu served out the opening game of the match but then Kasatkina went on to claim back-to-back breaks and win the next five games. With Raducanu serving to stay in the first set, Kasatkina had four set points but the Briton managed to save those chances and prolong the first set.

However, missing four set points had no impact on Kasatkina, who routinely served out for the first set in the eighth game.

After getting bounced in the first set, Raducanu also dropped her serve in the first game of the second set but managed to get the break back instantly in the second game.

Then something very disappointing happened for Raducanu as the 21-year-old had three consecutive game points in the third game but somehow still got broken in that game - and she also lost her serve in the fifth game.

Down by a set and two breaks, Raducanu got one break back in the sixth game but her woes continued and Kasatkina again went up by a double break after winning the seventh game.

Serving for the match in the eighth game, Kasatkina realized her first match point to complete her two-set win with just four lost games.
