This years Forbidden Door pay-per-view has seen STARDOM and CMLL make their presence felt, with STARDOM having multiple wrestlers in top angles for the event, especially Mina Shirakawa vs Toni Storm for the AEW Womens Championship.

While speaking during the AEW Forbidden Door media call, Tony Khan was asked about possibly working with STARDOM again in the future after Forbidden Door. In response to this question, Khan Khan was enthusiastic about their plans. He gave emphasis to a strong desire to regularly feature Stardom talent in AEW and discussed the potential for AEW wrestlers to compete in Stardom once visa logistics are settled.

Khan also speculated on the prospect of Stardoms Mina Shirakawa potentially competing for the AEW Womens Championship, highlighting AEWs commitment to promoting international talent exchanges.
