One key topic of discussion is the possibility of either Dynamite or Collision permanently expanding to three-hour blocks. This move comes in light of the recent success and viewer engagement observed during extended programming slots.
While speaking to Wrestling Observer Radio, Tony Khan made it clear he is open to the idea of regularly scheduling 3-hour blocks or shows for AEW. He stated that discussions about programming, scheduling, and distribution are ongoing with Warner Bros. Discovery, pointing out their approach to shaping AEWs television offerings.
Khan suggested that Warner Bros. Discovery has been supportive of AEWs current direction and programming strategies, suggesting potential opportunities for expanding their content offerings in the future.
Considering AEW has been running three-hour blocks with Collision and Rampage lately, perhaps it will become a permanent thing in the future. Regardless, only time will tell what Tony Khan will do in the end.
