AEW President TonyKhan has been leading the ship in AEW for better or worse over the past several years. One of AEWs most pressing issues is definitely the dwindling ratings over the years, but Khan claimed that others would like to have ratings like AEW.

Last weeks episode ofAEW Dynamite drew concerning television ratings, with only 502,000 viewersand 0.16 key demo rating. This was a significant drop from the previous weeks 681,000 viewers and a 0.23 demo on June 12th, and680,000 viewers with a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic on June 26th.

It is to be noted that this weeks episode of AEW hadThe Big Bang Theoryas its lead-in, a factor that wasnt present when AEW recorded its record-low ratings. Even then, many fans are growing concerned about AEWs dwindling ratings every week.

While speaking to Wrestling Observer Radio, Tony Khan was asked about AEWs struggle with ratings. Khan emphasized AEWs strategy and perspective on their growth and competition in the wrestling industry. Khan was very confident in AEWs performance, stating that other people in television would kill to get viewership numbers like AEW, indicating a strong position in the market. He added emphasis to a focus on producing quality shows for AEW rather than fixating on what competitors are doing
