Minoru Suzuki needs no introductions as far as his contributions to the pro wrestling world are concerned since he is known as the Murder Grandpa and it appears he lived up to his moniker by pulling out a gun while fighting in a train recently.
Over the weekend, DDT Pro Wrestling created a social media sensation with a unique streetcar match between Suzuki and Sanshiro Takagi. Fans paid to ride the train for the entire 55-minute match, which moved at a pace of eight miles per hour. Suzuki emerged victorious after executing a Gotch-Style Piledriver.
The match also featured notable cameos, including the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger and the Governor of Tokyo, Yuriko Koike, who got involved by delivering a chop to Suzuki. Even Meiko Satomura made an appearance in the match for good measure.
The match included a dramatic moment when Suzuki brandished a firearm. After the fight, Suzuki commented on the experience, expressing his willingness to wrestle in unconventional locations, including a deserted island, an airplane, a rocket, or even a space station.
