Deonna Purrazzo recently admitted that, before one of her major career events, her debut on RAW in 2019, she almost quit wrestling. During an interview on the Irish Wrestling Podcast, Deonna said she had a resignation letter ready for WWE.
Deonna felt stuck and unsure about her future in WWE, leading her to draft the resignation letter. Before sending it, she received an unexpected booking for a match on Raw.
Deonnas debut on Monday Night Raw was a turning point. Teaming up with her friend Chelsea Green, she faced Asuka in a memorable match. She also spoke about how much that moment meant to her.
After Deonna Purrazzo eventually departed from WWE, she achieved significant milestones, including winning the Knockouts World Championship in Impact Wrestling and making a name for herself in various promotions before finally landing in AEW.
