Will Ospreay is one of the biggest names in AEW and remains a highlight of AEW television. He had a tremendous match against Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at Forbidden Door but ultimately lost the bout and now new footage shows him lashing out at a cameraman after his loss.
From the start, Swerve and Ospreay engaged in a fiercely competitive battle, each aiming to outshine the other. The action intensified with more brutal exchanges, including a powerful House Call from Swerve. A critical moment occurred when the referee was inadvertently struck by Ospreay, leading Don Callis to urge Ospreay to use a screwdriver, a tactic he refused. Strickland then hit Ospreay with a Swerve Stomp, but it wasnt enough for the win.
Ultimately, Swerve clinched the victory with another House Call, retaining his AEW World Title. The hard-fought win defied the expectations of many who had anticipated an Ospreay victory.
AEW took to their official YouTube channel and uploaded a video, which featured new footage of Will Ospreay going backstage after his loss and looking incredibly dejected, with Kyle Fletcher in tow. When the cameraman got too close to Ospreay, he lashed out at the cameraman and told him to get out.
Despite his loss against Swerve Strickland, Will Ospreay remains the AEW International Champion. It will be interesting to see how he is booked in the coming months, as it is clear he will eventually return to the main event scene.
