WWE is staying tight lipped on if the veteran Natalya will be re-signing with the company.
Natalya was last seen a few weeks ago backstage speaking with Sonya Deville. After her loss against Kiana James on the June 3 Raw, Natalya told Deville that something needed to change.
Per Fightful Select its still very unclear if Natalya is staying with WWE.
A veteran name is not backstage at WWE Raw amid contract rumors.
Fightful Selects Sean Ross Sapp has learned that longtime WWE talent Natalya is not backstage at tonights WWE Raw, and is not planned for the show this evening. Natalyas WWE deal has been set to expire this summer, and at least internally, the company is very quiet about any developments.
We have confirmed the two sides have been engaged in contract extension talks. This development doesnt indicate the direction of those talks one way or another. Sources in WWE have been hopeful they would retain her, but weve not heard if a new deal has been reached.
There have been numerous talent and staff in AEW who pushed for the possibility of Natalya joining the company. Mercedes Mone alluded to both Natalya and TJ Wilson during a recent interview.
