He hasnt even played one game in the NBA yet, but 76ers rookie Jared McCain is already getting trolled big time.
McCain was drafted as the number 16 overall pick by the Sixers in last weeks draft.
As well as being a baller, McCain has a large social following of 1.2 million people on TikTok due to his viral videos.
The 20-year-old knows all too well about trolling and is well prepared for the onslaught from NBA fans.
Even since high school Ive had the social media. Ive gotten hate since high school. Ive painted my nails since high school, so I understand my TikTok is going to come into play after one bad game, McCain told Lauren Rosen.
Rosen asked him, What are they gonna say?
To which McCain responded with, Its going to be like. Ive been on Twitter, Joel Embiid says, Jared, we need to make a three Then its going to be one of my TikToks. So I already know what its going to be. But going to Duke has set me up for that, I already know whats going to come with it and Im prepared for it and I just embrace it. I try to just work as hard as I can and prove to everyone that I belong here.

Even though hes only been a Sixer for a number of days, Paul George was quick to leap to the defense of his rookie on the latest episode of Podcast P with Paul George.
His personality stands out more than anything, George said. Hes got a personality like, Im me, Im gonna do me. The fact that he dont give a f**k that he paints his nails and what people say about that, and he could still be himself and go hoop you can call him anything at that point.
PG added, Hes got a toughness about him, too, so I dont think he gives a s**t.
Its not all hate though, with some fans doing his dance.
Jared McCain posted on TikTok throughout high school and college and now hes been drafted to the 76ers and people are doing his dance all over TikTok and its really wholesome pic.twitter.com/6WRVfkfl1e
