Chad GablesWWE contract was expiringand fans wondered what he would end up doing next. Ultimately, hechose to re-signwith WWE and now he has revealed he wants a leadership role in order to assist NIL athletes.
While speaking in an interview with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, Gable shared his thoughts on re-signing and what it means for him professionally and financially. He acknowledged that as he gets older, he views his career and legacy differently. Gable noted that if someone had told him in high school that hed reach his peak at 38, he would have been skeptical about wrestling for that long. However, now he sees it as an opportunity to step into a leadership role within the locker room.
With many young talents coming up from NXT, such as the Creed brothers (Julius Creed and Brutus Creed), Gable believes he can provide valuable guidance. He emphasized that while these athletes are already strong and skilled, they need mentorship in other aspects of their careers.
Gable sees himself as well-suited for this role, especially for individuals with sporting backgrounds making the transition from amateur athletics through WWEs NIL deals. He aims to help these emerging talents by leveraging his experience and leadership to support their development.
In the meantime, Chad Gable is focusing on his upcoming participation in the Money In The Bank match on July 6th, so we will have to wait and see whether he will be able to win the match in the end.
