Daniel Garcia had a huge task at hand as he was determined to win the AEW International Championship from Will Ospreay. He was unable to do that and then got brutally attacked by MJF and now his health status has been revealed.
At the conclusion of the July 3 edition of AEW Dynamites special event, Beach Break, MJF returned with a shocking twist that left fans buzzing. He appeared ringside to support Daniel Garcia in his AEW International Championship match against Will Ospreay. The main event was riveting, with both Garcia and Ospreay delivering an intense showdown.
Despite Garcias impressive effort, Will Ospreay managed to retain his championship. Ospreay showed respect for Garcia after the match, but the situation took a dramatic turn when MJF entered the ring to congratulate Garcia. Instead, MJF launched brutal assault on Garcia, delivering vicious blows and leaving him bloodied in the center of the ring. He even knocked down officials who intervened before quickly escaping as Ospreay returned.
The show ended with Garcia being stretchered out as MJF exited through the audience, leaving behind chaos and questions about his motives. AEW then took to Twitter and uploaded the entire segment of MJFs brutal assault, announcing that Daniel Garcia was taken to a Chicago hospital for evaluation. It was said that he regained consciousness, and was still under observation for cervical injuries.
We will have to wait and see whether Daniel Garcia will be out of action for a long time following MJFs brutal assault, as it has become abundantly clear the old MJF has finally come back.
