Amid the joy of major international football and the frenzy of the transfer window, clubs have been quietly dropping their new kits for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

While there are plenty more to come, a smattering of truly sensational shirts have already been offered up, many of which boast the potential to become future classics. Of course, how they are viewed in years to come will depend on what is achieved in the new campaign.

Here are the ten best shirts that have been officially released by clubs across the world for the 2024/25 season - ranked.

10. Crystal Palace Home

When you think of a top-tier kit manufacturer, Macron don't immediately spring to mind. That's fair enough given some of the shirts they produced in the 2010s, but their latest efforts have been much improved.

However, Crystal Palace are clearly their favourites, with Macron normally saving their best for the Eagles.

They had a corker last year and it's the same for 2024/25. The eagle motif is worked seamlessly into the famous red and blue stripes, with the sleeve cuffs and collar neat and tidy.

It's a shame about the sponsor, but you can't have it all.

9. West Ham Home

There is one word to describe West Ham United's new home shirt: clean. The claret and blue colour scheme can look a little tired after a while, but this fresh take - inspired by the 1960s - is lovely.

The collar is particularly tasty even if a little large, matching the sleeve cuffs, and the club crest stands out a mile. Even the Umbro centenary logo is something a little unique.

Again, bin the sponsor and it's perfect.

8. Toulouse Home

You may not have been fortunate enough to see the Toulouse 2024/25 home shirt, so here it is. Just take a moment and breathe this beauty in.

Purple kits are cool, we all know that already. Kits with a sash are cool, we know that too. Put the two together and you've got something truly sensational.

With Nike at the helm these days, Toulouse are likely to win when it comes to their latest threads.

7. Millwall Home

We wouldn't blame you if you couldn't remember a single Millwall kit ever made. They have certainly never stood out when it comes to their jerseys and moving to Errea last season seemed unlikely to change that.

Well, they've planted egg firmly on our faces with their 2024/25 home jersey, offering a 'retro fusion' between old-school shirts and their more modern counterparts.

The collar, the cuffs, the horizontal white stripes, the subtle pattern across the deep navy blue. Perfection.

Well, until they finally get a sponsor to ruin it all.

6. Fulham Home

If you haven't already noticed, we're a sucker for a collar, with Fulham's 2024/25 home shirt boasting a delightful one. The black and white contrast always pops, but this Cottagers jersey looks so darn smart.

The red at the bottom of the shirt offers something a little different, even if it may have looked sharper in black.

The only negatives are the sponsors - both sleeve and chest - but it still can't detract from this shirt's neat look.

5. Wolfsburg Home

Wolfsburg have monopolised this shade of green in the football sphere. It's not too dark but also not too neon, although they have added a new shade within a gorgeous central stripe for 2024/25.

With the forest green shorts and the beautiful Volkswagen sponsor, it makes for an absolute stunner and certainly their best home jersey for a number of years.

Nike, you've done it again. Take my money.

4. Bayern Munich Home
