After weeks of vignettes and major hype surrounding Giovanni Vincis arrival at Friday Night SmackDown, the new and improved dress to impress Vinci finally came to the blue brand this week, only to have his night ruined, diffusing all the buzz around it.
On the September 6 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Giovanni Vinci was seen arriving in the arena in a brand new Mercedes and wearing white designer ring gear to compete in his first match for the blue brand.
The former Imperium member made his way to the ring in grand fashion to battle Apollo Crews in his WWE return match. However, as he entered the ring and seemed distracted when the bell rang, Crews took advantage and rolled Vinci from behind to score the pinfall and ruin his grand comeback.
With Giovanni Vinci not off to the start that he had hoped, we will have to wait and see if he will be able to redeem his first impression or get lost in the shuffle following major hype and buzz surrounding his debut under a new gimmick.
