AEWs 2024 All Out event at the NOW Arena on August 7 delivered an unforgettable night, with one of the standout matches being the highly anticipated clash between MJF and Daniel Garcia.

After returning from injury in May, MJF formed an unexpected friendship with Daniel Garcia. However, following Garcias loss to Will Ospreay in an AEW International Championship match at Dynamite: Beach Break, where MJF unsuccessfully tried to help Garcia cheat, MJF brutally turned on Garcia, sidelining him for weeks. MJF later went on to defeat Ospreay in July, winning the championship and rebranding it as the American Championship. At All In, during MJFs title defense, Garcia, disguised as a masked man, attacked MJF, allowing Ospreay to regain the title. This led to a confrontation on the next episode of Dynamite, where the two agreed to settle things at All Out.

These two rivals kicked off All Out in explosive fashion, taking serious risks to entertain the crowd. Garcia, already nursing a wound from Dynamite, was busted open again during the match, much to the satisfaction of MJF, who seemed pleased with drawing first blood.

Throughout the match, Garcia unleashed some serious offense, but MJF, a former AEW World Champion, countered with several reversals and well-timed attacks of his own. Both men pushed each other to the limit, with each competitor suffering from the intense physicality. At one point, Garcia was so weakened he couldnt even lift MJF for a piledriver, which allowed MJF to hit a Panama Sunrise for a near fall.

As the match wore on, MJF repeatedly kicked Garcia, but Garcia hulked up, refusing to back down. He no-sold a chop and responded with a barrage of elbows, only for MJF to slow him down with a thumb to the eye.

Garcia managed to rally once more, flooring MJF with a powerful clothesline that left both men down on the mat. MJF locked in a crossface, but Garcia escaped and countered with a sharpshooter. MJF, refusing to be outdone, transitioned into an armbar, but Garcia managed to reach the ropes to break the hold.

As the match approached its climax, MJF prepared for another Panama Sunrise, but Garcia struggled to stay on his feet. The two exchanged vicious chops before Garcia locked in a guillotine chokehold, followed by a piledriver for a near fall.

In the closing moments, MJF blocked a top rope piledriver and created some space between them. Seizing the opportunity, MJF hit a low blow and rolled Garcia up for a pinfall victory to win the match. After the mach was over, they shook hands, but then Garcia nailed a cheap shot to pop the crowd.
