Kairi Sane, who returned to WWE last year and has been a key member of Damage CTRL, recently suffered a serious injury during RAW. She has now provided an update on her condition by showing off her stitches.
On the September 2nd WWE RAW, Kairi Sane, teaming with IYO SKY, faced Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre in a #1 contenders match for the WWE Womens Tag Team Championship. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, the current champions, were at ringside for the match.
During the bout, Sane attempted a high-flying dive from the top rope towards Belair at ringside but misjudged her leap and hit the edge of the announce table face-first. Unfortunately for Sane and SKY, the Unholy Union won the match.
Kairi Sane suffered nasty laceration about her eye and needed stitches for it. In an update, Kairi Sane posted a new photo on Twitter on Monday showing the laceration on her face after it was cleaned and stitched up.
Its unfortunate that Kairi Sane sustained such an injury, but accidents are a part of professional wrestling. Sane is well aware of this. Fans are eager to see whats next for her and IYO SKY, as they look forward to more from the duo.
