Adam Copeland (Edge) declined WWEs contract extension and signed with AEW last year, starting new chapter in his career. Unfortunately, his momentum was halted when he suffered a tibia fracture while defending the TNT Championship against Malakai Black in a barbed wire steel cage match at Double or Nothing on May 26 and has provided with the latest update on his condition.

During the match, Adam Copeland revived his Brood persona with an appearance from Gangrel, but the injury forced AEWs EVPs, The Young Bucks, to strip him of the title just days later, ending his 70-day reign.

In recent interview, Copeland discussed his recovery and uncertain return. Following that, he mentioned in another interview with AMNY that he was feeling good post-surgery, which took place on June 1, but highlighted that hes still working on regaining full mobility and strength. Testing his limits in the ring, he noted that while there has been progress, his full explosiveness and range of movement havent yet returned.

Adam Copelands injury, a lower tibia fracture requiring a plate near his ankle, is healing, but he hasnt set a firm timeline for his return to AEW. Though hopeful for a comeback, he emphasized that he is still not at 100% and will likely reassess his in-ring approach to avoid dangerous spots, such as diving off a cage, which led to his injury.

With Copeland making progress but still looking a bit away from his return, we will have to wait and see till he gets 100% to return to in-ring action in AEW.
