At TNAs Victory Road on Sept. 13, Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) had a lot of pressure places on them either win the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles or disband as a team. Lucky for both Luna and Threat, their partnership remains intact as the defeat the champions to win the titles for a second time.
Now an asterisk is next to the champions as Alisha Edwards was not medically cleared to compete. So Tasha Steelz took Alishas spot and teamed with Masha Slamovich to defend the gold.
The finish of the match had Spitfire hit the Pressure Drop with Slamovich taking the pin.
Post match, Alisha got in the face of Slamovich blaming her for the loss. Steelz attached Slamovich aligning with Alisha.
Also at Victory Road, Steph De Lander announced that she needs to have neck surgery. She was planned to team with Matt Cardona to face PCO and Rhyno. However, this news led to her and her on-screen husband PCO to leave the ring. Cardona defeated Rhyno.
