WWE Friday Night SmackDown made its highly anticipated debut on the USA Network, broadcasting live from Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. This marked the beginning of a new chapter for the blue brand as WWE kicked off its latest television deal. Fans were treated to a thrilling night of action, packed with surprises and top-tier matches that highlighted WWEs creative direction.

Nick Aldis closed out the September 13 WWE SmackDown, and he had quite segment planned to cap off the end of the show. This all stemmed from Roman Reigns having to save Cody Rhodes during the cage match that started the night.

Roman Reigns made his way to the ring first and he got his full entrance. The OTC wanted to address the WWE Universe, and that is what he got to do. Nick Aldis joined Roman Reigns in the ring as the former Undisputed WWE Champion had a chance to speak.

Aldis held a folder close to his chest as fans chanted OTC. Then he let them acknowledge him. Aldis started talking, but Roman demanded the microphone. This brought even louder OTC chants when Aldis handed over the mic.

Roman Reigns said he didnt want to confuse anyone, as he said some things change, but not me. He said he doesnt need Nick Aldis, or a contract. He said that this is family business, Bloodline business. He said he doesnt need a partner, let alone Cody Rhodes. Whether he has the Ula Falla or not, he is still the Tribal Chief. Hes not the Original Tribal Chief, hes the Only Tribal Chief.

After Roman Reigns said that he doesnt need Cody Rhodes as his partner, The American Nightmare made his entrance. Cody got in the ring with Roman, still walking stiff from his cage match that kicked off the show. Then Cody Rhodes said that SmackDown was Roman Reigns show, but it hasnt been since WrestleMania.

Cody and Roman dropped their microphones after that, but then The Bloodline came out to interrupt their moment. Solo came out by himself, but then Tama Loa and Tama Tanga jumped Cody and Roman from behind. It didnt take Cody and Roman long to beat the Tongans down.

Then Roman Reigns grabbed the contract that Nick Aldis had and he signed it. That made the match official for Bad Blood for him. Then Cody Rhodes signed the contract, setting the match for Bad Blood in stone. Cody and Roman Reigns will team up to take on The Bloodline on October 5.

Whats your take on WWE SmackDowns season premiere on The USA Network? Do you think that they will be better than they were on FOX? Will Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns be able to coexist as partners at Bad Blood? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
