The Argentine champion, in introducing the challenge, through a promotional video, called it his last match.

The one between Djokovic and Del Potro will not be the only event that has caused a lot of buzz. Carlos Alcaraz has decided to use part of his pre-season to play some exhibitions. One of these will take place on December 4 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The four-time Grand Slam champion will face Ben Shelton in the legendary New York stadium. It won't be the only challenge: Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro will also be there.

The season is still long and will soon reserve many other prestigious events. After the four Slams, the calendar will present the last ATP Masters 1000 of the season, Shanghai and Paris Bercy, the final stages of the Davis Cup, and finally the long-awaited ATP Finals, which will see the best 8 in the world compete.
