Warriors second year guard Brandin Podziemski has reacted to the recent strange comparison his team got from an anonymous NBA coach.

In case you missed it, the coach likened Golden State to a rock-and-roll band is past its prime.

I was thinking about this the other day, the coach told Heavy Sports Steve Bulpett.Theyre like one of those rock-and-roll bands thats still touring. Theyve still got their lead singer, and he can still crank it out at a high level. But its not the same band as before and they havent had a hit record in a few years.

That championship they won against Boston thats looking like a lifetime achievement award now. They had the experience and professionalism, and Boston wasnt ready to deal with that yet.

Podziemski was at Oracle Park on Friday and was asked about the bizarre comments after he took batting practice before the San Francisco Giants game.

We dont love to hear that, but we love to hear that in the fact that were going to do something that no one expects us to do, Podziemski said, via NBC Sports. They dont think that were the Warriors that we were before, and for us, I think its just the best feeling when you dont have anything to lose out there, and you just go out and prove people wrong.

I think theres a bunch of guys with that mentality that thrive off proving people wrong, and I know Steph [Curry] is one of those guys. So just to be alongside him in the backcourt and in combination with all of our other guys, were just excited to prove people wrong.

Curry shared similar sentiments not long ago, explaining how he thrives on those doubters who give the Warriors no hope of winning a title anytime soon.
