The allegations made by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon have significantly harmed his reputation as a business leader. Claims of sex trafficking and sexual abuse have overshadowed McMahons legacy as a big name in the entertainment industry. With that said, Mick Foley has a different stance on this entire matter.
Janel Grant accused Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis of serious misconduct, including sexual assault, emotional abuse,and sex trafficking, with allegations dating back to March 2019and a lot of things have come to light after the lawsuit was made in January this year.
Netflix will be releasing Vince McMahons documentarytitled Mr. McMahon on September 25thand there is a lot of hype and skepticism regarding the series for very good reason.
While speaking at Comic-Con Northern Ireland, the upcoming Netflix docuseries about Vince McMahon was mentioned and Mick Foley shared his thoughts on it. Foley said hes trying to find an address to thank McMahon for giving him a chance in the past.
Foley noted that while McMahon sometimes seemed to mix up having good traits with outweighing bad ones, he has seen McMahon do good things as well. Foley feels sorry for McMahons current troubles but noted that he and other wrestlers wont let their memories of McMahon get affected by Vince McMahons lawsuit and allegations. Despite the current situation, Foley wants to focus on the positive experiences he had with McMahon.
The lawsuit is currentlyon hold pending federal investigation. Nonetheless, it remains to see what will become of Vince McMahon in the end, as things simply do not look good for him, but Foley will continue to have love and respect for him till then.
