Four other winners in the race in 2024: the English Amy Taylor (hers the Ladies Italian Open) and Annabel Dimmock, the Spanish Marta Martin and the Czech Jana Melichova.

The title is defended by the Spanish Nuria Iturrioz, 28 years old from Son Servera, on the island of Mallorca, four successes on the LET, one on the Symetra Tour (now Epson Tour) in 2019 and three on the Santander Golf Tour where she obtained her last victory on December 1, 2023 in Malaga in the Spanish Championship.

All the players mentioned will be among the favorites, but many others have what it takes to challenge them, including the Iberians Ana Pelaez Trivino and Luna Sobron Galmes, the Thai Trichat Cheenglab, leader of the 2023 order of merit, the Swedes Johanna Gustavsson and Caroline Hedwall, the German Gabriella Cowley, the Welsh Chloe Williams, the French Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and the South African Lee-Anne Pace, 43 years old, but always capable of asserting herself with her eleven titles on the circuit and one on the LPGA Tour Virginia Elena Carta, at her 61st appearance, has been rather irregular in her path and has never entered the top ten apart from a sixth place in a team event (ATS London).

She is 89th in the order of merit. Alessandra Fanali, at her 34th competition, started the year with the second place in the Magical Kenya Open, then she came sixth in the Ladies Italian Open and fifth in the last tournament played, the Irish Open. She is 17th in the order of merit. The prize money is one million euros, one of the highest on the circuit.
