After the actions that have taken place over the past couple of weeks, Yuka Sakazaki will be challenging Mariah May for the AEW Womens World Title. It will take place next week on Sept. 25s Dynamite at Grand Slam.
Sakazaki teamed with Queen Aminata on Sept. 18s Dynamite against May and Serena Deeb. The match ended in a disqualification after the champ used the belt on Sakazaki. Sakazaki recently returned to an AEW ring after months out with an injury.
This will be Mays second title defense since defeating Toni Storm at All In. She successfully defended against Nyla Rose earlier this month.
