All the spotlights of the 2024 edition of the Laver Cup are on Carlos Alcaraz, the spearhead of Team Europe and the most anticipated tennis player of the event, which, we recall, is missing Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Jannik Sinner.

The Spaniard arrived in Berlin several days in advance to prepare for this team competition and train with his teammates. The four-time slam champion has already taken to the court, at the Uber Arena, the theater of the event that will see Team Europe and Team World face off.
In an interview with Eurosport, the 22-year-old Spaniard showed his enthusiasm for this tournament.
"I am excited to be part of the European team in this Laver. I have seen this event several times, so I am looking forward to participating. I have always seen a great atmosphere on TV, with the coaches, we support each other in every match, it is very fun. Also, I think we have a great team that can bring the title back," he analyzed.
The 4-time Slam champion, at his first participation in the Laver Cup, will be joined by Grigor Dimitrov, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev. After the last two successes of the Team World, the Spanish tennis player wants to bring back to success the European team, which has not won since the edition won in Boston in 2021.
