Vince McMahon remains a controversial figure in professional wrestling, currently facing allegations of sexual trafficking that have ignited significant debate. In light of these allegations, Alberto Del Rio is now defending McMahon.
On January 25th, Janel Grant, a former WWE employee,filed a lawsuit against WWE, John Laurinaitis, and Vince McMahon. The lawsuit alleges McMahons involvement in sexual assault, emotional abuse, and sex trafficking, detailing incidents that took place between their initial meeting in March 2019 and March 2022.
While speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling, former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio was asked to share his thoughts on Vince McMahons ongoing lawsuit. Alberto Del Rio defended Vince McMahon against the allegations made in his sexual trafficking lawsuit.
Del Rio emphasized his belief in McMahons character and expressed concerns about the impact of the allegations on McMahons legacy in the wrestling industry. He argued that the accusations should be viewed with skepticism and pointed out McMahons contributions to the wrestling business. Del Rio added that fans should separate personal matters from Vinces professional contributions to wrestling.
The lawsuit is currentlyon hold pending federal investigation. Regardless, well have to see what will become of Vince McMahon in the end, as things simply do not look good for him.
