WWE is getting proactive as several talent contracts near their expiration dates, and the company is looking to lock in its top stars before they hit free agency.

According to Fightful Selects Sean Ross Sapp, WWE has already reached out to multiple talents about re-signing, signaling a shift from the more relaxed approach seen earlier this year.

One notable name in these contract talks is Kevin Owens. A WWE source confirmed that Owens has been approached for a new deal, though he has yet to sign anything. Owens contract is set to expire at the end of this year, and with time ticking, WWE is hoping to secure his future before other promotions come knocking.

And speaking of other promotions, AEW has reportedly been eyeing Owens for quite some time. Sources within AEW have expressed major interest in bringing him on board if he reaches free agency. Should Owens decide not to re-sign with WWE, AEW is expected to make a substantial offer to lure him in.

In 2024, WWE has already successfully re-signed major talents like Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Natalya, Humberto Carrillo, Shayna Baszler, Angel Garza, Cedric Alexander, and Nikki Cross. WWEs focus is clearly on maintaining its roster strength, with Kevin Owens being one of the next key players they hope to retain.

With Kevin Owens contract status up in the air, fans are left wondering whether hell stay with WWE or explore opportunities elsewhereperhaps in AEW, where the interest is clearly mutual.

Do you think Kevin Owens will stay with WWE or jump to AEW? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
