JeVon Evans is set to face off against Randy Orton on the October 8th episode of WWE NXT. The black and gold brand is moving to the CW Network, and theyre bringing some big names out for those shows. This announcement took many by surprise, but apparently, Evans himself was equally shocked by the revelation.
According to sources from Bodyslam.net, JeVon Evans had no prior knowledge of the match. In fact, he discovered the news live on air, while he was standing in the ring during the September 17 WWE NXT. The moment came when NXT commentator Vic Joseph made the surprise announcement, followed by Randy Ortons tweet being displayed on the screen for everyone to see, including Evans.
As the date approaches, anticipation continues to build for this exciting clash. JeVon Evans has impressed a lot of fans already, and hes obviously got some big eyes on him from behind the scenes. Snagging Randy Ortons match in NXTs Saint Louis event is a huge achievement for the young Superstar.
The October 8 NXT event will go down in The Factory in Saint Louis. Tickets for that event went on sale on September 18 and some are still available on TicketMaster.
