According to WrestleVotes, the Giovanni Vinci vs. Apollo Crews II bout is expected to mirror their first encounter. The plan is reportedly for Crews to catch Vinci off-guard once again for another quick and surprising upset victory. This outcome would be similar to their June 6th match, where Crews secured a win in just four seconds.
While there has been some internal criticism within WWE regarding the direction of Giovanni Vincis new character, it appears WWE is sticking with their current creative plans for him, doubling down with this rematch on tonights episode.
