Taylor Fritz analyzed his feelings following the defeat in the US Open final against Jannik Sinner, revealing - in the Nothing Major podcast together with other tennis players and former tennis players such as Jordan Thompson, John Isner and Sam Querrey - how the days after the New York final were worse than he imagined.
The American tennis player, who in the semifinal had won the derby against Frances Tiafoe before surrendering in three sets in the final against the world number 1, admitted that he had gone through difficult days, permeated by the disappointment of the defeat in front of his crowd.
Taylor, in the podcast also marked by irony, animated by Thompson, Isner and Querrey, talked about how he stomached the defeat in the final at the US Open and said that he didn't feel like picking up his racket again in the ten days between the end of the US Open and the start of the Laver Cup.
"To be honest, it was worse than I could have imagined. I sit at my desk and play video games for 12 hours a day. You could also say that I didn't eat healthily at all in certain situations," reflected the American player who was connected from Berlin where he is currently playing in the World team led by John McEnroe at the Laver Cup.
