AEW President Tony Khan oversees everything that goes on in the company and is responsible for all of the numerous changes fans have seen so far. With that said, fans are still curious if Khan will ever compete in the ring, and Khan has now set the record straight on that matter.

Since AEW started in 2019, Tony Khan has mostly stayed behind the scenes, only appearing occasionally to make important announcements. Earlier this year, his role shifted when Jack Perry attacked him, and Khan ended up being hit with a piledriver by The Young Bucks. Due to this, he had to wear a neck brace for a few weeks. However, this has been his only involvement in any physical altercations.

While speaking in an interview with amNewYork Metro, Tony Khan was asked if he has any interest in stepping foot inside the squared circle in AEW. Khan made it clear that he has no interest in wrestling.

The AEW President acknowledged the incident with Jack Perry and The Young Bucks but made it clear that stepping into the ring wasnt something he wanted to do, and he hopes to avoid similar situations in the future.
