Damage CTRLs Dakota Kai has been out of action for a number of weeks due to injury. Her last televised match was in July where she and the rest of Damage CTRL defeated Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, and Lyra Valkyria.
In August, WWE wrote off Kai for eight to ten weeks with a torn meniscus. She was attacked backstage by Pure Fusion Collective as a way to remove her from TV. With her absence and also Asuka being out with a knee injury, it has been only Kairi Sane and IYO SKY holding it down for Damage CTRL.
Kai may be back soon and seems to be right on target for her timeframe. She is sitting at least at six weeks and on her Instagram she wrote See You Soon.
