Things are about to heat up as Jeff Jarrett has called out Hangman Page for a lumberjack strap match at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.
On the September 21st episode of AEW Collision, Jarrett issued the challenge, calling out Page in what is set to be a brutal, high-stakes showdown.
During his promo, Jarrett named several potential lumberjacks, including Dark Order, Bang Bang Gang, The Conglomeration (, as well as Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh.
The match was officially confirmed by Tony Schiavone after the video of Jarretts challenge aired, although there remains some uncertainty about which portion of AEW Grand Slam the match will take place on. While Jarrett referenced AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, its unclear whether the bout will happen on Dynamite or on the AEW Collision Grand Slam portion, which will be taped following Dynamite.
This challenge comes as Hangman Page continues his rampage, having targeted anyone who stands in his way, including Swerve Strickland. The lumberjack strap match with Jarrett is set to be a fierce battle, as Page looks to continue his path of destruction.
