Roman Reigns is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the history of professional wrestling but before becoming a wrestler, he used to play football at Georgia Tech and now Georgia Tech has reacted to Reigns returning as part of his segment on SmackDown this week.

On the September 20 episode of SmackDown, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes confronted each other at Georgia Techs stadium in Atlanta, escalating the tension between them. Reigns made a grand entrance, arriving with an entourage of cars, while Rhodes pulled up in a sleek sports car.

Reigns pledged his support for Rhodes in their upcoming match at WWE Bad Blood against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu from The Bloodline. However, he subtly suggested that he expects something in return, hinting at reclaiming what he believes is rightfully his.

The stadium holds special meaning for both Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. Cody, having grown up in Georgia, has deep ties to the area, while Roman Reigns attended Georgia Tech, making the venue his alma mater. Following the segment, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets took to Twitter to acknowledge Roman Reigns return to his old stomping grounds.
