Rikishi shared his thoughts on his nephew Jacob Fatu potentially challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Speaking on the Off The Top podcast, Rikishi expressed concerns that Fatu is being pushed too quickly.
The WWE Hall of Famer explained that Cody Rhodes is currently the top star in WWE, and facing him too soon might not be the best move for Fatus career. Rikishi believes that instead of rushing into such a high-profile match, Fatu should be given time to build momentum by dominating other opponents in quick, impactful squash matches. He feels this would allow Fatu to showcase his full potential before moving on to bigger challenges.
Rikishi has also shut down rumors of a backstageconfrontation between Jacob Fatu and Triple H. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen whether Jacob Fatu will continue to be a dominant force on WWE television, as that seems to be the current direction right now ahead of WWE Bad Blood.
