Mickie James spent the last few years competing in TNA before leaving the promotion last year. She hasnt been part of WWEs active roster for a while, but there is now growing support for her to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The six-time Womens Champion parted ways with WWE in 2021. Her husband, Nick Aldis, laterjoined the company and took on the role of SmackDowns General Managerlast year.
In a recent interview with Wrestling Then And Now, Cherry shared her thoughts on Mickie James, calling her a great person and hard worker. She believes Mickie, now the Creative Director at OVW, should definitely be in the WWE Hall of Fame.
Cherry has wrestled with Mickie in the past and saw her progress in OVW, so she wasnt surprised by Mickies success. She talked about Mickies strong work ethic, how she helps other wrestlers, and her fun, goofy personality, making her a joy to be around.
Mickie James has also hinted at her WWE return in a new role. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether James will end up being inducted into the WWE Hall of Famer, as many fans feel she more than deserves the accolade.
