Andrade El Idolo made his return to WWE during this years Mens Royal Rumble match. Since then, the former United States Champion would make his way fromRAW to SmackDownand had beenfeuding with Carmelo Hayes for a while. Andrade is a feature on WWE television and now some want him to be booked like Kurt Angle.
Andrade recently stepped up to challenge LA Knight for the United States Championship on theSeptember 20 episode of SmackDown. Despite not winning the title, his performance left a strong impression on fans and showcased his skill in the ring.
On the Busted Open podcast, Mark Henry expressed strong support for Andrade, saying the Mexican star has the potential to become one of WWEs top talents. Henry praised Andrade as a super wrestler and described him as being beyond elite.
Henry also compared Andrade to legendary stars like Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle, pointing out how WWE took chances on those wrestlers and helped them become icons. He urged WWEs creative team to give Andrade a similar opportunity and booking, believing that with time and investment, Andrade could rise to the same legendary status.
We will have to wait and see whether WWE will end up giving Andrade similar booking to Kurt Angle as Andrade has clearly proven he is more than ready to take it to the next level.
