Speaking about it, on the sidelines of the 7th edition of the Laver Cup, Tony Godsick, agent of the Swiss Maestro and one of the main founders of the event dedicated to Australian legend Rod Laver.
We all still remember - as Godsick himself also pointed out - the incredible success of 2020 Match for Africa, in which Roger and Rafa played in front of a crowd of 51,000 people, in Cape Town. A match that generated over $3.5 million, donated to support the Roger Federer Foundation's projects for the education of children in Africa.
Regarding the possible match at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Godsick said: "We like to do big things. If one day there is an option to beat that guy, I'm sure Roger will consider it. Since Roger retired he didn't want to play another match until he felt physically well. I think of the record of spectators they broke in South Africa."

Previously, Roger's manager had also opened up to a sensational possibility for the Swiss Maestro and the Spanish champion to both become captains of Team Europe for the Laver Cup: a suggestion that has already excited fans of the two legends.
"Anything is possible in the future. We both like to collaborate and I like working with Carlos Costa. I have very good memories. We did the exhibition half grass and half clay in Mallorca," he revealed.
