Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is no stranger to challenges, both in the ring and in his personal life. After 13 years together, Flair has announced that he and Wendy Barlow have officially parted ways. The announcement came as a shock to many fans, especially since Barlow had been by Flairs side through some of his most difficult moments, including a serious health crisis in 2017.
Flair and Barlow originally separated in 2022, living separate lives for months before reuniting later that year. However, the separation has become permanent, with Flair taking to Twitter today to confirm the split. In his heartfelt message, Flair expressed gratitude to Barlow for standing by him during his toughest times, particularly during his health scare. He acknowledged that their relationship had its ups and downs but noted that both are now focusing on different projects, which has made it difficult to maintain their relationship. - Leslie Goodman (1971-1983): Flairs first marriage lasted over a decade, and the couple had two children together, Megan and David Flair, with David following in his fathers footsteps to become a professional wrestler.
- Elizabeth Harrell (1983-2006): His second marriage lasted 23 years and produced two more children, Ashley (better known as WWEs Charlotte Flair) and Reid Flair, who tragically passed away in 2013. Charlotte has gone on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE.
- Tiffany VanDemark (2006-2009): Flairs third marriage ended in divorce after three years, with reports citing personal differences.
- Jackie Beems (2009-2014): Flairs fourth marriage also ended in divorce, with numerous legal issues and public disputes surrounding their relationship.
Following these relationships, Flair began dating Wendy Barlow, who he married in 2018. Barlow, who played the character Fifi the Maid in WCW, supported Flair through numerous personal and health struggles, making their breakup even more surprising to fans.
Flair previously expressed disappointment that no one from WWE reached out to him following their initial separation in 2022. It remains to be seen whether this will change after todays announcement.
