Dixie Carter played a key role in funding TNA Wrestling from 2002 until 2017, eventually becoming an on-screen character in the promotion. Her financial backing helped TNA secure a deal with Spike TV and attract high-profile free agents, which contributed to the companys growth during that time.

While opinions on Carter vary among fans and wrestlers, Scott DAmore recognized some of her strengths, particularly in handling larger business aspects. Apparently, she was a master at networking, especially with their television network home.

Speaking on the K100 podcast, Scott DAmore shared his observations about Carters interactions with key figures. He said that Spike TV executives loved working with Dixie, as she had them eating out of the palm of her hand, and that likely contributed to their long deal with the channel.

TNA aired on Fox Sports Net and through webcasts from 2004 to 2005 before its run on Spike TV from 2005 to 2014. Currently, TNA iMPACT! is broadcast on AXS TV, which is owned by their parent company, Anthem Media Group.

Although Carter has attended wrestling events over the years, she has not been actively involved in the business in a long time. Odds are, she could find some sort of on-screen angle if they had the right creative for her in TNA or even WWE at this point.

We will have to see if Dixie Carter ever makes a return to pro wrestling. She was even backstage at WWE RAW last year. Of course, Dixie and AJ Styles had a lot of interaction while they were in the same company, but she also made it very clear how grateful she was to work with Sting.
