Andy Roddick would not be surprised if Coco Gauff didn't find a new coach for the rest of the season as he thinks the American tennis star will take some time before deciding her next hire.

After failing to do well in the last couple of major tournaments and also dropping from world No. 2 to No. 6, the 20-year-old made a widely expected decision and parted ways with Brad Gilbert.
Although it is a fact that they didn't enjoy much success lately, their partnership was still a massive success considering that under Gilbert's belt, the American became a Grand Slam champion at the 2023 US Open and also became a WTA 1000 winner in Cincinnati last year.
However, the feeling is that Gauff's progress has stopped over the last couple of months and that she needs a new voice and spark.

Obviously, out of the gates, it was a stunning success. You would trade all of the tough moments for that US Open win. I dont know that I was shocked. Its been a bit of a rough year. What Im curious about moving forward is whether there is going to be a co-coach situation. Is there going to be a name-brand coach? Is this something that she enjoyed looking back, or was the attention to the relationship a net negative? I dont think shed be in a rush to do anything because J.C. Farell is in her corner, and shes comfortable there. Your guess is as good as mine. I dont think shes going to be in a rush to fix it immediately," the 2003 US Open winner said on Tennis Channel.

During the summer, the 20-year-old American only made the round-of-16 at Wimbledon, the Paris Olympics and the US Open.
This week, No. 4 seed Gauff is set to return to action in Beijing, where she has a first-round bye before facing either Caroline Dolehide and Clara Burel.
