Vince McMahon is larger than life and his life story is worthy of a movie, which is why its no surprise McMahons Netflix documentary is so highly anticipated. Interestingly enough, Vince McMahon attempted to purchase the documentary as well.

Vince McMahons Netflix docuseries, titled Mr. McMahon, isset to debut on September 25, 2024. The six-part series will be delving deep into Vince McMahons innumerable controversies that have plagued his life over the years.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Vince McMahon attempted to purchase his own Netflix documentary in order to stop its release. McMahon reportedly realized that the documentary would not align with his expectations, leading him to make efforts to suppress it.

The Netflix deal, which was signed in January, made McMahon try and buy out the project last year. His intent was to shut it down, a tactic often used by wealthy individuals to prevent unfavorable media coverage. McMahon also enlisted Ari Emanuel in this effort, but Netflix refused, and the documentary proceeded as planned.

Vince McMahon also claimed that the Netflix documentary misrepresented key facts. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether more stories about McMahon will be brought forth in the series, as fans cant wait for it to drop.
