Vince McMahons upcoming Netflix docuseries, Mr. McMahon, is set to explore his life in ways that many fans may not be familiar with, with its release scheduled for September 25. Eric Bischoff has now raised questions about WWEs decision to not delay the documentary to be released while an ongoing lawsuit is still in play.
This six-part docuserieshas taken years to develop, and its release comes amid controversy surrounding McMahon, including allegations ofsexual misconduct and various other well-known issues that fans are familiar with.
While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff raised questions about WWEs decision not to delay the Netflix documentary about Vince McMahon. He speculated that WWE might have some influence over Netflix, and if that is the case, he wonders why they havent taken action to postpone the release.
Bischoff expressed doubt that Netflix would be bound by a contract to air the series, as he has never encountered such an obligation before. He pointed out that if there is no contractual requirement, it would be illogical for Netflix to release content that could negatively impact a brand in which they have recently invested a billion dollars. This situation has left him puzzled and searching for answers.
We have also reported on WWEs backstage reaction to the upcoming documentary, asquite a few people are legitimately upset over it and even Vince McMahon tried to purchase the documentary in order to kill it. Regardless, nothing delayed the documentary and now well have to see if the docuseries will end up exposing Vince McMahon once and for all.
