Nauhany Vitoria returned to the professional circuit at the end of August, receiving a wild card at the W35 Sao Paulo 2 event.

The young Brazilian faced a qualifier, Maria Toma, in the first round and forged a 5-7, 7-5, 6-1 victory in three hours. The 14-year-old lost serve two times in a row in the closing stages of the opener, losing it 7-5. She stepped in and moved 5-2 in front in set number two before wasting set points.

Still, she kept her composure and delivered a break at 6-5, introducing a decider and gaining a boost. The Brazilian notched three breaks in the final set, securing her first main-draw professional win.

The 14-year-old could not repeat that in the second round, losing to Aurora Zantedeschi 6-1, 6-3 and adding four WTA points to her tally.

Staying at home, the young gun received a qualifying wild card for the W35 Leme tournament, dominating both matches and dropping seven games in four sets for a place in the main draw. Leme Da Silva made a promising start against Luisina Giovannini before falling 4-6, 6-0, 6-2 in two hours and 11 minutes.

The Brazilian struggled behind the first and second serve, dropping half of the points in her games and giving serve away six times. Nauhany Vitoria claimed the opener with two breaks before losing ground, suffering a bagel in the second set and standing with no chance in the decider.
