The Mr. McMahon docuseries on Netflix has led to a significant conversation about the former WWE chairman and his controversial actions during his time in charge. While speaking on this weeks episode of BroDown with Vince Russo, the former writer commented that McMahons own words compromised him more than any editing or production decisions.
Russo suggested that McMahon was concerned about how he would be portrayed and even considered buying the docuseries before its release. According to Russo, McMahons statements in the series ultimately incriminated him, making it clear that the portrayal was rooted in his own admissions rather than any external manipulation.
It has also been reported thathours of footage were removed from the documentary, andMcMahon needed reminders about certain events throughout filming.
