Layla was with WWE from 2006 to 2015 and played a significant role in various storylines during her time with the company. Recently, she addressed the possibility of returning to WWE for the Royal Rumble as well.
Layla previously revealed why she left WWE, as there was simply nothing more she could have done in the company, and she was completely satisfied with her run with WWE.
While speaking to the They made their way to the ring podcast, Layla was asked if she was interested in returning to WWE during the Royal Rumble. Layla admitted that in the past, she was firm about not wanting to come back, feeling her time was over. Although she received an invitation to return in 2021, it didnt work out for her.
However, she now expresses interest in rejoining, as she believes it would be a positive experience. Layla thinks reconnecting with fans and revisiting her past in WWE would be worthwhile, especially before she feels too old to participate. She aims to avoid injuries but is open to the idea of revisiting her wrestling career.
Many fans also want to see Team LayCool return, as fans would love Michelle McCool and Layla to team up again, even if its for a one-off appearance at the Royal Rumble. Therefore, we will have to wait and see if Layla will return during the Royal Rumble next year.
