WWE fans tune in every week to watch Superstars continue their storylines on television, but that isnt the only place to see them perform. Live events offered fans a chance to see Superstars showcase their skills and enjoy themselves in the ring in a non-televised setting. However, the company is now reducing those house show events, which is not viewed favorably by everyone involved.

Liv Morgan spoke to the New York Post, where the topic of WWE cutting down their live event schedule came up in the conversation. The outlet asked for her thoughts on WWE scaling back on house shows. Morgan said shes a little bit sad about it. She added that house shows are purely for the love of wrestling.

The current WWE Womens World Champion expressed her sadness that newer talents on the roster will not have the opportunity to experience house shows and gain the same amount of experience she did. She also commented on how that intimate setting of house shows also provided a unique experience.

Liv Morgan obviously developed a soft spot for those WWE live events, because she certainly sees the value that they provide. WWE fans were given a chance to watch her grow on screen over the years, and some of that maturation was thanks to the valuable experience that she gained through wrestling those smaller events on the road.

Throughout Liv Morgans title reign as WWE Womens World Champion, she has had three successful defenses. With assistance from Dominik Mysterio, she retained her title against Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam 2024. Morgans next title defense will see her put the belt on the line against Rhea Ripley at the Bad Blood on October 5. That match will see Dominik Mysterio suspended from the ring in a shark cage.

We will have to see what WWE does with their schedule from this point on, but Endeavor has certainly shaken things up since they took over. WWE live events dont make the money that their television counterparts make, so it appears that they might be a thing of the past sooner than later. WWE still has a few live events on their schedule, which they have listed on their official touring site.

Whats your take on WWE nixing their live event schedule? Do you believe that they are making the right move by cutting them from the company schedule? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
