The conversation about pro wrestlings Mount Rushmore has been a popular one for a very long time. Many pro wrestlers have given their picks, and fans have also debated this subject in droves. Some may have put GUNTHER on their own Mount Rushmore, and now the Ring General is giving his picks.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the world and, at the very least, will go down as one of the greatest WWE Intercontinental Champions ever thanks to his historic reign.
Speaking toThe Sun, GUNTHER named his Mount Rushmore in wrestling. His four picks did not include his own name, but he did name two people who were instrumental in his career with WWE.
This is interesting, because during the September 9 WWE RAW, GUNTHER named Goldberg as his favorite wrestler during a conversation with Bret Hart. Then he went on to snub him in this situation.
Triple H and Shawn Michales have both been huge supporters of GUNTHER since his NXT UK days. Triple H pulled hard to get GUNTHER on board as well, because it was hard to get him away from wXw, a company that he dominated as 3-time World Champion, and he also taught others the ropes on the side. Now that Triple H is calling the shots in WWE, GUNTHER is on top of the RAW brand as World Heavyweight Champion.
GUNTHER is currently denying Sami Zayn a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title, despite multiple asks by Zayn on WWE RAW. We will have to see how long it takes for that match to happen, but he may not want to take the match, since at WrestleMania 40, Sami Zayn was the man who ended his historic 666-day reign as IC Champion.
