WWE dropped a bombshell this week by revealing that SummerSlam 2025 will be the first two-night event in the pay-per-views history. Following in the footsteps of WrestleManias expansion to two nights, SummerSlam is set to hit MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 2 and 3, 2025.

Former WWE superstar Nic Nemeth, known to fans as Dolph Ziggler, shared his thoughts on the significant change during his appearance on Busted Open Radio. Nemeth reflected on WWEs recent momentum, acknowledging that while the company has always done well, it hadnt been evolving as much as he believed it should.

WWE first announced the two-night expansion of SummerSlam back in May, with the company also revealing that the 2026 edition of the event will take place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Before that, WWEs next big two-night spectacle will be WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
